Spark for iOS and Mac integrates with popular third-party services. For example, you can turn an email into an Asana task, export it to Evernote, or even add a conference call to a calendar event.

Spark for Mac works with Reminders by Apple, Things, 2Do, OmniFocus, Wunderlist, Todoist, Trello, Asana, Evernote, OneNote, MeisterTask, Bear, GoToMeeting, and Zoom.

Spark for iOS supports all apps mentioned above plus it also integrates with Google Drive, Dropbox, Box, OneDrive, Files, Pocket, and Instapaper.

Note: Spark currently supports only personal OneDrive accounts.

Add a service

  1. Click Spark at the top left of your screen.
  2. Select Preferences.
  3. Go to the Services tab.
  4. Choose an app and click Connect.
  5. Follow the onscreen instructions to sign in.

  2. Open Settings > Connected Services.
  3. Select a service.
  4. Follow the onscreen instructions to log into the selected app.

Export an email to another app

  1. Open the email you wish to export.
  2. Click More on the top toolbar.
  3. Select the service.
  4. Choose export options. They may vary by the selected app. For example, when you turn an email into a Trello task, you can export this message as a link or a PDF file. You can also select a board and a list for this task right in Spark.
  1. Click Save.

  2. Tap the More icon at the bottom right.
  3. Select the service you wish to use.

Add a conference call

When you create an event in Spark’s built-in calendar, you can add a conference call link to this event without leaving Spark. There are three available services: GoToMeeting, Zoom, and Google Hangouts.

When you create a link, event attendees can click on it in their calendars to launch a call.

Note: The Google Hangouts option is available only when you create an event from your @gmail.com email in the Google calendar.

  1. Open the Calendar section on the sidebar.
  2. Click on the plus icon at the top left.
  3. Type a short event description and press Enter.
  4. In the event editing menu, click Add Conference Call and select the service.

  2. Select the blue plus icon at the bottom right.
  3. Type a short event description and tap Done.
  4. Tap Add Call and select the service.

Remove a connected service

  1. Click Spark at the top left of your screen.
  2. Select Preferences > Services.
  3. Under Connected Services, click on the service you want to remove from Spark.
  4. Select Log Out at the bottom right.

  2. Open Settings > Connected Services.
  3. Select the service you wish to remove from Spark.
  4. Tap Remove Account.
